A government ministry in Qatar initiated a strategic cloud transformation project to establish a secure, scalable, and enterprise-ready Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment for its power sector operations. The objective was to design and implement a robust Google Cloud Landing Zone capable of supporting future workloads while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance and security standards. The project focused on deploying a secure network architecture integrated with FortiGate, Palo Alto VMSeries, and F5 BIG-IP virtual appliances to provide comprehensive perimeter security, secure hybrid connectivity, application load balancing, centralized monitoring, and high availability across the cloud environment.
