Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an FP&A Manager specializing in US GAAP. As an integral part of our Finance team, the FP&A Manager will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and analysis activities, ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The successful candidate will possess a strong background in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
- Analyze financial results, variances, and trends to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information.
US GAAP Compliance
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP principles in all financial activities.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and communicate their impact.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate and complete financial statements.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial guidance.
- Support decision-making processes by providing financial insights and analysis.
Forecasting and Budgeting
- Drive the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads.
- Monitor and update forecasts based on changes in the business environment.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Implement controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
