Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our IT infrastructure to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our technology systems. The IT Infrastructure Manager will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure strategy.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Planning and Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Network and Systems Management
- Oversee the management and maintenance of network infrastructure and systems.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of all IT systems.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide guidance on technical issues and ensure the team's professional development.
Vendor Management
- Collaborate with external vendors for hardware, software, and infrastructure services.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance meets established standards.
IT Security
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and threats in IT security.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
- Develop and maintain a robust disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Conduct regular testing to ensure readiness for unforeseen events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on networks, servers, and systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of current IT trends, security best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
