Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Node.js Development Technical Manager with hand-on exp. to lead our team. As a Node.js Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of developers while actively contributing to the development of our web applications. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Node.js, Vue.js, Vue 3 (Composition API), JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Hasura, HTML & CSS, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.
What You’ll Do?
- Manage and lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Architect and design scalable and robust software systems using Node.js, Vue.js, Vue 3 (Composition API), JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Hasura, HTML & CSS, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.
- Drive the development process, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of front-end designs and deliver outstanding user experiences.
- Integrate with backend systems, APIs, and databases, and optimize performance and security.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues and provide effective solutions to address them.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks, and guide the team in adopting relevant innovations
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development.
- Extensive expertise in Node.js, Vue.js, Vue 3 (Composition API), JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Hasura, HTML & CSS.
- Strong proficiency in working with databases such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
- Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Agile Scrum experience
- Experience in Azure
- CI/CD Tool experience
- Team leads capabilities such as customer facing skills, team handling, coordination skills able to handle a minimum 6 members development team at offshore.
